Terms of Service

Introduction

Welcome to Rapduo, an AI rap video service available at rapduo.net (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), which govern your use of the Site and of everything it provides (the "Service"). "Rapduo", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the Site.

Please read these Terms before using the Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the Site or the Service.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and our Cookie Policy. Questions: [email protected].

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the age of majority where you live if that is older, to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet that requirement.

Accounts

Making a video requires an account. You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything that happens under your Rapduo account. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

The Service

Rapduo turns photos you upload into a 12-second AI-generated rap video of two people. You can upload one photo of each person, or one photo of the two of them together, and add an optional short line about what the rap should be about.

Videos are currently generated by Seedance 2.0, a video model made by ByteDance, which we access through a third-party AI model provider, apimart. To keep quality and availability up, we may switch to or add other mainstream video models — for example other Seedance versions, Kling (Kuaishou), Veo (Google) or Hailuo (MiniMax); when the model that makes your videos changes, we will update this section. The provider may refuse a request under its own content rules. Because the videos are made by a generative model, the same photos can produce different results each time, and a result may not look or sound the way you expected.

Every video the Service produces is AI-generated. Do not present it as a real recording of the people in it.

Photos you upload

You may only upload photos of adults (18 or older), and only photos you have the right to use:

• Photos of yourself, or
• Photos of other people who have agreed to appear in a video made with Rapduo.

This applies to every person in a photo. If you upload one photo of two people together, both of them must be adults and both must have agreed.

Do not upload:

• photos of anyone under 18;
• photos of anyone who has not agreed to appear in the video;
• photos that are sexual, violent or unlawful;
• photos you do not have the right to use, such as someone else's copyrighted image.

Videos, previews and unlocking

• The free video. Each account can make one video for free. It is granted once per account, it does not expire, and it has no cash value. We may withhold it where we detect duplicate or automated accounts.
• The preview. Until an account has made a purchase, each finished video plays only its first 5 seconds and cannot be downloaded.
• Unlocking. Any purchase — a pack or a plan — unlocks every video the account has made and will make, including the free one: each plays in full and can be downloaded. The unlock belongs to the account and stays after a plan's month ends.

Buying videos

The pricing page shows what each pack and plan costs and how many videos it includes. Your balance is counted in videos; internally, one video is 10 credits.

Packs

A pack is a one-time purchase of a number of videos. Videos from a pack never expire.

Plans

A plan (Creator or Pro) gives you a number of videos for one month, paid once in advance.

• No automatic renewal. A plan does not renew. We will not charge you again unless you choose to buy again.
• Use them within the month. A plan's videos are for that month. Unused videos do not roll over: they lapse after the month ends.
• Buying another month. If you buy a plan while a plan month is still running, the new month starts when you pay and replaces the current one, including any videos left in it.

Videos from packs are not affected by any of this.

Payment

Packs and plans are sold to you by Waffo Pancake, which acts as the merchant of record: Waffo is the seller of the purchase, takes the payment on its own checkout page, and handles tax and invoices. The charge may appear on your statement as "WAFFO" or "WAFFO PANCAKE". Waffo's own terms also apply to the payment. We never receive or store your card details.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Where tax applies, it is calculated at checkout. By completing a checkout you authorise the one charge shown on it.

We may change prices. A change applies only to purchases made after it; it does not change what you have already bought.

How a video is charged

When you press "Create rap video", one video is set aside from your balance. It is used up only when the finished video is delivered to you.

If a video fails — the model provider refuses it, returns an error, or does not deliver it — the video you set aside is returned to your balance automatically, and you do not need to contact us. This includes the free video: if it fails, it is returned and you can try again.

A video that is delivered counts as used, even if you are unhappy with the result.

Refunds

When a payment can be refunded is set out in our Refund Policy.

Your content

Ownership

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and of the videos you make with the Service ("Your Content"), subject to the rights of the people who appear in them. You are solely responsible for Your Content, including for having the right to use every photo you upload and the agreement of every person in it.

The limited licence you give us

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, copy and transmit Your Content, and to send your photos and note to the AI model provider named above, only to the extent needed to provide the Service to you: to generate your videos, show them to you, keep them in your account, and support and secure the Service. The licence lasts only as long as we hold the content and ends when it is deleted.

This licence does not allow us to:

• use your photos or videos to advertise or market Rapduo, unless you separately and explicitly agree;
• use your photos to train any AI model;
• sell Your Content.

Content rules

You may not use the Service to create or upload any of the following:

• Sexual content — pornography, nudity, or sexualised depictions of anyone.
• Violence and gore — graphic violence, gore, or content that threatens or glorifies violence.
• Hate speech — content that attacks or degrades people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic.
• Content involving minors — any image of a person under 18, and under no circumstances any content that sexualises a minor. We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
• Deepfakes and impersonation — videos of someone who has not agreed to appear, or made to deceive, defraud, harass or embarrass a real person, or presented as a real recording.
• Copyright and trademark infringement — content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Harassment and bullying — content that targets a person to mock, threaten or humiliate them.
• Illegal content — anything that promotes or takes part in illegal activity, including fraud.

You also agree not to use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Service, not to resell access to the Service, and not to interfere with the Service or the systems behind it.

Content moderation and reports

Every video request is checked by the AI model provider under its own content rules, and a request it refuses is not generated. Videos are private to the account that made them; there is no public gallery.

Anyone, with or without an account, can report a video or photo they believe breaks these rules — including a video of themselves made without their agreement — by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Content report". Please include the video's link or ID if you have it, what the problem is, and an email address we can reply to. Do not attach illegal material; describe where it is instead.

A person reviews every report. Reports involving minors or threats of harm are handled first. Where we find a breach, we act as described under "Enforcement" and tell the person who reported it what we did, where we can. If you think we got a decision wrong, reply to our message and we will look at it again.

Enforcement

If you break these rules we may, depending on how serious the breach is: delete the content, withhold the free video, suspend or close your account, and report the matter to the relevant authorities. Videos left in an account closed for a breach of these Terms are forfeited, and payments are not refunded.

Our intellectual property

The Site, the Service and everything we provide in them — software, text, design, logos and trademarks — belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you no rights in them beyond what is stated here. "Seedance", "Kling", "Veo", "Hailuo" and other model names are the marks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the models; their owners do not endorse Rapduo.

Availability, warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Service depends on third-party providers, whose availability can change without notice to us.

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else's rights — including a claim by a person who appears in a photo you uploaded.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. To have your account deleted together with its photos and videos, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or if the law requires it. Provisions that by their nature should survive — payment, ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. Where a change materially reduces your rights, we will give notice on the Site before it takes effect.

General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
